I purchased a new gate to replace another walk-through gate into my horses dry lot, hoping it would hang on the same hinges, but of course it did not. Due to all the flooding, my husband has been very busy and gone working. The old gate that was there had a broken bar at the bottom and I just needed to get it done so my horses did not get hurt. I reached out to Goodside and seen other reviews, figured I would give them a shot and see if they could replace the gate for me. I understood they do a lot of painting, but when I made the phone call, they did not hesitate. I sent them a picture, he said no problem, and was here the next day. Even though today is Saturday and they had their son coming in town, they arrived early in the morning and got the job done. I am so very grateful to them for helping me out. Therefore, I highly recommend them, I could tell they were very good people.

I had a walk-through gate that needed replaced badly. Due to my husband being gone for his job because of all the flooding he’s been gone a little bit and I needed to get the gate replaced ASAP because the broken bar was broken and was a danger to my horses. I reached out to Goodeside and sent him a picture and he did not hesitate. He said he could do that for me and he was here the next day on a Saturday morning and got it knocked out for me. They even had a son coming in town on Saturday, but they understood the importance of this and showed up early and got her done. I am so appreciative of their help. They make a good team working together, and I highly recommend them.

My comments pertain to the handyman category of Shawn and Jenny's practice, but I'm inclined to think they pertain to all their services. I needed help transporting and hanging some drywall in the last room of a year long DIY restoration. GP worked me into the schedule in a reasonable time and we ultimately knocked it out in a few hours. Shawn was efficient, engaged, and good company. I've worked with a lot of tradesmen and you get a sense of their work ethic and attention to detail quickly. Shawn was on point during the work and shared some photos of recent jobs before leaving. The work looked great; but it was his sense of pride that resonated with me. Bottom line, there is no better person/company to hire to work on your home, or anything for that matter, than someone who cares about what they are doing. Two thumbs up Goodside.

Shawn and Jenny were fantastic to work with! Their communication and attention to detail are excellent. One of the rooms had a shiplap wall that was difficult to remove and required a ton of patching. After they finished, you would never know the shiplap was there. They even made sure all of the screws on the switch plates were facing the same direction when they replaced them. Best of all, my walls look brand new! Goodside Painting definitely lives up to the hype!
